Musashi-Kokubunji was built 741 years and is the origin of the name of Kokubunji City. Musashi-Kokubunji was destroyed by fire in 1333 during the Bubaigawara War in the fighting between Hojo Taika and Nitta Yoshisada. Currently, the ruins of Musashi-Kokubunji have been identified as national historic site. After Nishi-Kokubunji Station opened in 1973 local residents established this street as a "Historic site street”. This historical street has been has undergone improvement to promote wheelchair access, traffic safety, the beautification of the community and other conveniences. The cache is hidden along this street. Why don’t you take a leisurely stroll down the street? 〜〜Japanese〜〜 市名の起源でもある武蔵国分寺は天平13年(741)に建立されましたが、元弘3年(1333)に新田義貞と北条泰家との分倍河原の合戦にて武蔵国分寺は惜しくも焼失してしまいました。現在、武蔵国分寺は国の史跡に指定され史跡公園として跡を残します。 昭和48年(1973)四月、西国分寺駅が開設されてからこの道路を地元の人々が「史跡通り」と呼ぶようになりました。この史跡通りは、車椅子での移動や、交通の安全などの生活道路の利便性、その他、緑化、及び美化等、生活環境の向上に役立つ道路となっています。 キャッシュはこの通りに隠しました。ぷらり散歩でもしてみてはいかがでしょう。
