Geocache Description:

IT'S A CAVYGUY ROAST!!!

Don't worry Cavyguy, we're not roasting cavies.

Bring your most memorable stories of our very own cavyguy. Your tales of adventures, and your funny times that will make our all bellies jiggle.

Cavyguy is an Alaskan caching legend. With over 11,000 smileys to his name since joining the game in 2009, he ranks 4th among all Alaskan cachers. Aka, The First To Find Wizard. Cavyguy has beat us to over 652 FTF's(how many times have you unrolled a logsheet hoping for lily white, and found it dirtied by cavy?). Many'a cahers have joined the First to Find race because of Cavys inspiration, but rest assured, you'll need the get up awfully early if you want to keep up with cavyguy.

10,300+ Traditionals, 245 Unknowns, 116 Multi's, 113 Virtuals, 72 Earth Caches, and 197 Events of all types, CITO's, Block Parties, and Mega's. These are just a few examples of the types of smileys cavyguy has found.

Especially at Events is where Cavyguy shines. With a huge smile and beard to match, cavy attracts crowds all around him swapping caching stories back and forth. I know of at least twice he was interviewed at events. At a MEGA Event, FTF Magazine interviewed him for an issue In Soldotna, a paper quoted him while he was attending the Caching on The Kenai annual Picnic Event. Cavyguy has hosted 19 events and there'll be more. His 12-12-12-12-12 Event, nearly filled town square with cachers AND muggles.

If you've found a cache, odds are you've found one of cavyguys. A couple of the best are GC2F87J, School memories, and GC28ZK0, Old No. 5. trails in Chugiak State Park, and Crevasse Moraine are saturated with them. Even Bush Alaska has cavyguy caches.

Cavyguy has worked on the GeocacheAlaska! Board of directors helping to negotiate areas within state parks where we can play, educating cahers on geocaching, and hosting Event smileys for all of us.

Now it's time for us all to get together at this "Maker Madness Event" and recognize all that cavyguy has brought to the game we love. And we'll do it in a ROAST style. You know what I mean. Everyone will get their chance to show cavyguy their appreciation with a memorable cavyguy story, or a fun and FRIENDLY jib. I could only imagine the stories that will be told. Lets all get up early and roast our pal.

And now, in true Roast fashion, lets make him get up the earliest, and come the farthest, to attend. Just to get him back for beating us to all those FTF :)
