Welcome to Brutonville N.C., even though this name is NOT officially on any map. From this location you have breath-taking view of Bruton Smith's Empire (one of his 8 NASCAR Speedway's) which is located in Cabarrus County, which someday may be renamed Bruton County.
In 2007, Bruton had a tiff with the local City of Concord over a noise ordinance, in which Bruton threaten to level his Empire and move it to another location. Well, Bruton got his way and remains at his original Empire location, they even remamed the adjacent road Bruton Smith Boulevard.
Bruton's real first name is OLLEN, could you imagine the name Ollenville........
