Geocache Description:


Arrrr mateys, ye are invited to bring yer scurvy selves, yer salty kin and yer flea-bitten mutts to Griffith Woods for a good ole Pirate Gathering.

Be thaaar at high noon and we will have ye scribble yer name on the pirate log and enter to win yer very own treasure chest. The draw fer the chest will take place at fifteen past high noon.

We have provided docking coordinates for ye landlubbers but feel free to paddle up the river as well.

By attending ye get one of these new, fancy geo-souvenirs. We Pirates like to get them there souvenirs almost as much as we like to find treasure.

Event Description:

1. When: Sunday, April 6th 2014 at 12:00 p.m. through 12:15 p.m. at a bridge in Griffith Woods in the SW community of Discovery Woods.

2. The Make-Arrr Pirate gathering will begin at 12:00 Noon. A group photo will be taken at 12:15pm.

3. You have the opportunity to enter a free draw for an Ammo Can with which you can display all your creativity in cache construction.

4. At 12:15 p.m. we will go our separate ways. There are many caches within the park waiting to be discovered.
