Geocache Description:

Mega Scotland 2014

This is a registered Maker Madness Event

Date:
 Sunday 30th March

Time: 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Where: Barrmill Community Centre, Beith Road, Barrmill, Beith KA15 1HW‎

As part of Groundspeak's Maker Madness Week, let's celebrate those all those great people who make geocaching possible - the cache makers!

Geocaching isn't possible without those people willing to go out and stick little boxes under bushes for us. Every geocache celebrates something interesting, and some geocaches out there are a labour of love: an incredible location, a fantastic container, an awesome piece of history. And the people who make these better than average caches do it for nothing! A free gift to the rest of the world to enjoy.

If you are a new cacher who has never been to a geocaching event before, please take this as a personal invitation. You can tell us you plan to attend by clicking on “Log your visit” and choosing the option “Will Attend” to write a note on the cache page, or else just turn up.

Every geocacher who logs an “Attended” at a registered Maker Madness event will earn a Maker Madness souvenir.

Meet the Makers: Meet your favorite local geocache hiders and see examples of their best creations and tools of the trade.

Bring your best ideas to share: If you have a great geocache that you'd be willing to share, please bring it along.

Creative Cache Workshop: put all your new skills to good use and create a cache that is invisible to muggles!
