Geocache Description:

Congrats @GrandPenguins for FTF! 3/9/14

You are looking for a 7 inch cube camo cache.

Perfect place for picnicking with the kids - picnic tables, parking. Public boat launch, so muggles may be present.

This is the first cache from our daughter, Strawberry7. She drew a picture prize for FTF. Cache includes Pen, Log, lots of SWAG and room to leave your own. Accessible by boat or car!

Saltwater intrudes all the way from the gulf. The Barrier here is to protect the freshwater marshes to the north and was installed by the US Army Corp of Engineers after channel straightening and dredging was done for the port of Lake Charles. Reminder - Along the river in South Louisiana, watch out for snakes and alligators during Summer Months.
