Geocache Description:

IMG_20140308_130006_097

While exploring Spanish Canyon, we came across this interesting geological formation. With the exception of a few plants, the surface of it made us think of what the surface of the moon might be like.

To get here, you will be driving along a sandy wash for quite a distance...4x4 highly recommended. From I15, take the Harvard Road exit and head north. Turn right on the power line road at N34 59.826 W116 38.677, follow it for about 4 miles, and turn left on the trail at N35 02.055 W116 35.414. This trail will take you to the canyon...from there it's up to you!

Beware of the critters that call this area home...remember, you are the visitor!
