A visit to Andrewsfield Airfield is a pleasurable experience whether an aviator or not. It is situated on the site of a wartime airfield.... history can be found at the cache description for nearby multi cache WW2 Airfield - RAF Andrews Field (GC2GOXT). In these more peaceful times the light aircraft using this field make a pleasant sight and these comings and goings can be surprisingly regular at weekends and on summer evenings.
The cache is located off the airfield and can be a cache and dash as there is room for parking by a farm entrance 30 yards away or so. Although quite rural the road can be busy at times so take care and also be aware of prying eyes!
You are looking for a clip box in a little snug camoflague. Please replace as found and cover a little especially until the undergrowth takes hold as spring and summer come around.
