Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Fraser Farm Trail, which is a lesser travelled, but beautiful trail along the north east side of McNabs Island. This cache is part of a series highlighting landmarks on the island. To get passage to the island, call the McNabs Island Ferry 902.465.4563.

Congrats to Salty_ca, MG69 & Flashjam for FTF.

The Fraser Farm trail runs between Indian Point and the Timmons Cove Trail. An easy way to get on the trail is from the Teahouse. The trail that runs along the north of the Teahouse is Timmons Cove Trail, and the Fraser Farm trail leads directly off that to the north (or in this case, left).

The Fraser Farm is located near Indian Point on the drumlin closest to the marsh beside Ives Cove. The Frasers were originally tenant farmers, eventually buying some property from the McNabs family. They ran a dairy farm on the island. The Fraser farmhouse dates back to the 1790s and remains of the foundation can still be seen.

The cache is in near the beginning of the trail near Timmons Cove.
