This cache is hidden just before the final drop to the base of the Mangakotukutuku falls. Easiest access would probably be during summer or autumn. It is placed on the track side of the falls.
No need to get wet feet in stream.Photos will help pin point cache. To get to the falls you need to go up the Maude track, which starts at the end of Maude Rd and crosses a bit of farmland before actually entering the bush. The track is not overly obvious so you need to follow the orange DOC poles and markers. On the way there is a maori cooking pit (umu) on the side of the track which may interest you.
