Geocache Description:

This is the third cache in a mini-series, already consisting of the caches, Are You There, and Are You There This Time. The cache is not at the listed co-ordinates.

This is another wordfind puzzle of ours and, like the other two in the series, the theme for this one is ACT/Queanbeyan cacher names. Some are long overdue, some have become stars in the last year, some are rising stars and some are old legends. The others were on Mount Ainslie, but this one is somewhere different. So, maybe this time?

In order to find the cache: Solve the attached wordfind (to enlarge the image, click on “View the Image Gallery” and then click on the image of the puzzle). The remaining letters, read from left to right, top to bottom, will form a geocaching message. Then using the letter values, eg. A=1, B=2, C=3, Z=26, turn all these letters into numbers and add them all up to get a 3 digit number. Then do the following:

Subtract the 3 digit number from the south decimals.

Add the 3 digit number to the east decimals.

This will give you the GZ coordinates. Checksums: S=14 E=37

Confirm your coordinates using Geochecker.com: (visit link)

GZ is just off the main road at a forgotten picnic spot but the cache should be quite easy to find. Sometimes there is a lot of rubbish around here so if you have some time feel free to do some CITO. The cache is a black 500mL with a few swaps inside.

Enjoy! FTF honours go to Tankengine!
