I have arranged for us to join with The Fareham Society Annual beach clean (they have run this event for a number of years, but are looking for new blood to help this very worthwhile community activity)
The Sunday-morning event will involve a good skirmish of the beach from Meon Shore to Brownwich.
Start at 9.15AM Sunday 6th April
Look out for Solent Runner
Skirmish finished before 12 Noon.
we will gather at 9.15 to sign the log book and swap TB GZ will be by the picket fence adjacent to where the ice cream van parks (next to the public convenience) Once our geocache business has been completed (9.30) we will walk to the far end of the beach to clear "our area" those who attended last year will remember that this was the area in need of most attention (due to prevailing winds and tides)
Bags will be provided – please bring your own gloves and other equipment you think is appropriate.
