To be held at NESIT (New England Society of Information and Technology), Central Connecticut's premier Non-Profit, Maker Space!
290 Pratt Street, Meriden, CT
East Entrance, 2nd Floor
203-514-2257
Bring your best ideas, materials if you need them, and innovative caches if you have them. We'll start with a round robin discussion of cool geocaches that we've seen, look at some ideas on paper, and then proceed to make a few!
NESIT has a wonderfull 4000 sq ft maker space with a full wood working shop, 3 D printer, and molding/resin casting facilities. Perfect for making geocaches. You won't have to worry about dragging the dust into your home, buying special tools, or learning how to use them. We'll have members on hand who'll be able to help you bring your ideas to reality.
Note this is not a social event! Leave the alcohol and stilettos home. You'll need closed toe shoes, safety glasses (we have them), and hair ties if you plan on participating in the shop area. Coffee, soda and snacks will be available at nominal cost and maybe one of you will be nice enough to bring cookies. We'll start promply at 7pm and run until we finish or drop. We'll also be able to spillover to Wednesday evening, which is NESIT's open to the public night.
We will need a head count! So if your planning to come, please RSVP with a "will attend".
