This cache is named to honor two beautiful Roan English Cocker Spaniels, Gracie and Izzy.
This cache is a 7" x 4" Pelican 1040 Micro Case. I have placed this cache near the entrance to the historical Church of Saint John the Baptist in Whalestown with the permission of the owner in order to bring people to this beautiful historic church. It is NOT in the building but we hope you will look around after finding the cache.
Whalestown, Cortes Island was served by the Columbia Coast Mission in 1913. The Church of Saint John the Baptist was opened on August 13, 1950 under the auspices of the Mission. Please be very respectful while retrieving and replacing this cache. Otherwise we will lose the privilege to have a cache in this very special place.
