Geocache Description:

CPA 1

The Cwmcarn power trail A is one of 2 power trails that have been placed for the 2014 South Wales geocaching Camping event.

 

The trail is mainly along a good gravel track (making it suitable for mountain bikes) but does have a very step uphill section that is over uneven grass (you will need to carry the bike) followed by a smaller footpath that descends back down into the valley where the trail started.

 

A lot of the containers are 35mm film canisters placed in the end of cut logs (bring a pen) so as to blend into the area however there are a few different caches along the way just incase you get fed up of the fantastic views.
