Geocache Description:

This SWH geocache is my first, and is  dedicated to Hiddo, who started geocaching on 26th July 2013.  In this short time, Hiddo has found 357 caches and hidden an amazing 75 caches, to today's date.  Her caches can sometimes be challenging, but often very clever, well thought out and sometimes even "cute".  Her enthusiasm for geocaching is contagious, and we  have enjoyed caching all the more because of Hiddo.

I have chosen this spot on the SWH as it is an area I often visit.  There is parking on the sides of Shanley Road, just be careful as always, it is a busy intersection.

The original cache containerwas “in the style" of Hiddo, but it and its replacements went AWOL, so the current cache is a cammo’d Sisrema.

BYO writing tool. NO NEED TO GO NEAR THE FENCE... it may be live!

SOUTH WEST HIGHWAY TRAIL

The South West Highway(SWH ) trail celebrates those active cachers in the West who have contributed to Geocaching in Western Australia. The series travels along the South West Highway, which is a stretch of road that stretches from Armadale all the way to Picton close to Bunbury.

The highway does not actually enter Bunbury - it stops at the industrial suburb of Picton, following Robertson Drive (Bunbury's ring road) for 1 km south before turning southeast past Bunbury Airport towards Boyanup. It continues for another 255km to Walpole, to give it a total length of 414km

You are welcome to hide a cache along the SWH, but please keep the cache name format the same, eg SWH...******

Please don't hide a cache unless you or a sponsor can maintain it.
