Edgar "Hot Dog" Acker was a lifelong resident of Roselle Park. He was so popular with the young people of the town, and drove the towns boys and girls to many softball and other events in the town. He would also participate in town parades, driving his Model A Ford Woody Station Wagon. He, probably more than anyone in town, did more for the youth of Roselle Park than anyone in his day. In 1966, the former Lehigh Playround was re-christened "Acker Park", and has been a destination for kids and their parents since. Recently the fenced-in park has been renovated.
The cache is a preform well outside of the playground, but along Lehigh Avenue. There is no need to stray inside the park. No parking is available on the park side of Lehigh, but is allowed on the adjacent side streets, with a short walk to the cache.

Congratulations to GothamNJ for the FTF.
