I've shamelessly pinched this idea from a cache I enjoyed doing while down south. That was set by the Lydford Locators to who I'm also grateful for the first note below that reassured me I'd made my alterations correctly!
Once you've put the nine pieces together correctly the numbers can be read in the normal reading order and fitted into the following coords....

P.P.P.S. There's a small football puzzle for FTF.
P.P.P.P.S. Pegswood isn't quite the nearest place, it just begins with P!
P.P.P.P.P.S. Geochecker removed because looking at the stats page I see several people have simply guessed lots of combinations of the numbers. There is only one solution as far as I know and of the four ways of reading that you want the closest to Pegswood. If your solution means you are searching more than about 50m from a road either you've not done the puzzle right or there's another solution and I'd like to know.
