In keeping with theme SillyScout Slept Here, Too and GPLAMY ate here, now there is Plazmo Took a Rest Here.

There is no clear destination along this trail, except maybe Mexico and Canada. I did this as a loop, approximately 10 miles and 1800 feet elevation gain, starting near Hwy 50 and Sierra at Tahoe ski resort. There are other options, there are always other options. Not sure if it can be done in less than 9 miles… Hence the high D, it is trail all the way except the last 400 feet or so.

I wanted a spot with a view but I also wanted near the location I took my rest… you can see Pyramid Peak to the north and there are a lot of cool rock formation. The picture below is what you are looking for, and that is Pyramid through the trees. The top picture is the rock formation you are looking for. All the regular Sierra warnings, critters, ever changing weather, cliffs etc… The parking coords are where I parked, there are other options.
