Geocache Description:

We are often walking in the mountains instead of staying at the beach when we are visiting Gran Canaria. Today we went to La Plaza Noruega and we then followed a road towards north, wondering if we would find some nice places up there. We found places with beautiful view over the surroundings, the mountains, the sea and Puerto Rico.

We have hidden several boxes along the path to make it a nice round-trip that will take a few hours. If you drive up the hillside (Roque del Este) and park somewhere close to where the dust road starts, we recommend you to go to La Plaza Noruega first and make "The Dam in the Valley" the last cache.

Sukkertoppen is a Norwegian word as well as many of the other names around here. It seems that 95% of the hiking people are Norwegians and the rest are Swedish? But we also met some goats and sheeps - they did not understand the word "Hei!"
