Sun Lakes Puzzle #31:
Commander North: Base 31, come in. Base 31, do you read?
Ensign Lakes: Base 31, go ahead.
Commander North: Base 31, this is Commander North, 47th Division. We need an extraction pronto out of quadrant 44. Seven of us and fifteen civilians.
Ensign Lakes: Sorry Commander, all resources are currently tied up on the assault at Selona.
Commander North: Base 31, you listen carefully. You get on the line with General West and you tell him to free up a transport. One of these civilians happens to be his daughter.
Ensign Lakes: Understood, Commander. Closest available transport is quadrant 119, and they are on their way.
Commander North: Well, tell them to hurry, Base. I got hostile bugs breathing down my six, and we are low on firepower.
Ensign Lakes: Understood, Commander. What are the coordinates within your quadrant?
Commander North: I am at North 5483D and West CRKFS, Base 31.
Ensign Lakes: Roger that, Commander. You should see them coming over your horizon from the East in two minutes. They’ll take you to Base 10. The General will be waiting.
Commander North: Thanks, Base. Tell the General he still owes me that drink.
