LUDDESDOWN
Tiny and remote centre of a spider’s web of public footpaths and bridleways, rolling woodlands and fields, Luddesdown is a seventh heaven for riders and ramblers. The long-distance footpath, the Wealdway, runs the length of the parish.
Next to the ancient church, the old manor house, now known as Luddesdown Court, dates from 1100, and is the oldest continuously inhabited house in England. Its farm is now fully organic.
This is a quiet rural backwater with a long history and a strong community spirit
I have set this loop out in an anti-clockwise direction which i strongly recommend taking to appreciate the stunnings views and rolling hills on this walk.
There are a mixture of caches for all from film pots to micros a multi plus a few surprises along the way. Hope you all enjoy the walk.
