Geocache Description:

Jabal Shada is one of the highest mountains in Al Baha region. To drive up the mountain on the paved road you need a good car as the ascent is very steep.

The mountain offers many possibilities for hiking. The views are spectacular. On the way up you will find many nice picnic spots. Local people go here for a picnic.

At N 19° 53.183 E 41° 18.741 leave road # 3100 and drive up the mountain road.
You can park at the end of the paved road at N 19° 50.391 E 041° 18.689.
Then follow the wide path up the mountain. Local farmers are driving up there. So the path is not really difficult, but also very, very steep. You have to walk around 1 km. Follow the path up the hill at N 19° 50.561 E 041° 18.651.

The cache box contains a logbook, pen, pencil and pencil sharpener and small items to trade.
