Tudor Queens - Mary I Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

garlandgirl: Unfortunately I don't feel able to maintain this and my other caches in the way I once did. Sadly I have not been able to find anyone willing to take them over even though they're both lovely little north Leeds series.🤕

Tudor Queens - Mary I

She was born in February 1516 at Greenwich, the daughter of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon.  Her early life was miserable - rejected by her father and separated from her mother.  She was a studious girl and a devout Catholic.  She married Philip of Spain, a marriage not popular with the people.   She came to the throne in July 1553 and died in November 1558 and during that time she became known as "Bloody Mary" because of the number of people she ordered to be burned to death.

Congratulations to Team Mx for being FTF!
