Starved Oak Cross Traditional Cache

An easy cache situated between Upton Pyne, Thorverton and Brampford Speke. I cycled past this area today and decided it was a good location for a hide. There are some burial mounds to the north east of the cache site that are visible from the road.

You are looking for a home made cache in an obvious location. Tweezers or similar may be useful when extracting the log. This cache could be done as a cache and dash - if you are in a car please don't obstruct the traffic at this junction. Cyclists will find this whole area level with only minor gradients. Please feel free to take a photo of the area but no pictures of the cache!
