Geocache Description:

Lieutenant James King

Here lies Leut. James Saunders King, one of the first three settlers to arrive in Zululand.

This cache should be a fairly easy park and grab. Dont forget to turn around and enjoy the view. The residents nearby have been consulted on the placement and are aware of the cache.

It is said that on arrival Leut King and co. where treated like "kings" , They where even shown a piece of land for their own use by King Shaka himself. The land extented 100 miles inland and 25 miles along the coast!!

Soon after Leut King arrived,Captian Gardiner, settled at Port Natal to do missionary work, and not to long after this, Durban was founded!!

This is the location that I found my very first cache, so this spot is very special to me, take a moment's silence for Lt. James King one of the first settlers in Port of Natal
