SideTracked - Ivybridge Traditional Cache

Nice easy little Sidetracked cache here - Can be done commuting or as a cache and dash. Not sutiable for wheelchair users. Remember to bring your own pen please and possibly a pair of tweezers.

This cache is placed near to Ivybridge Station which opened east of the the viaduct on the 15th July 1994 at a cost of £380,000 to replace the old station a mile down the line. To fit in the narrow site, the platforms are staggered, with the eastbound platform nearer to Plymouth than the westbound. It was marketed as a Park and Ride station with a large 100-space car park to entice car drivers off the A38 road into Plymouth, but the level of train service has never offered the convenient and frequent service that is normally associated with such facilities. The preceding station is Totnes and the following station is Plymouth.
