Geocache Description:

Join us at 10.30am on Sunday 27 April for the 20th regular monthly event for East Dorset. All are welcome.

The National Trust have kindly given us permission to hold this cache in trash out (CITO) event at Bramble Bush Bay to coincide with the 2014 International CITO weekend. Any geocacher attending a CITO event during this weekend will receive a souvenir for their caching profile.

The event (10.30am-12.30pm) will give geocachers the chance to help preserve our beautiful part of the world by spending a couple of hours collecting litter, we will provide bin bags and as the Great Dorset Beach Clean is also happening on this day at other locations across Dorset, the rubbish we collect will be recorded and included in the Great Dorset Beach Clean statistics.

You may want to bring some gloves, gardening gloves would be ideal, you might also want to bring family and friends to help out!

Due to the outdoor location there won't be a raffle but there will be a FTF draw for those who wish to take part. There will also be the opportunity to swap/drop TBs. We will be providing some sugary treats as a reward for your hard work, it is advisable to bring drinks (depending on the weather a flask of something hot might be a good idea!)

Free roadside parking is available between the waypoints marked, please head to the large rocks opposite the bus stop to make your way to the event location, there is a short walk to the beach but it is obstructed in places with low tree roots but may be accessible for off-road wheelchairs and all terrain buggies.

Many thanks to the National Trust who have given us permission to hold this event which is the only beach clean event happening at Studland on this weekend.

Attendees can use the profile badge in the gallery and in Dorsetgirl's note in their profile - many thanks to Dorsetgirl for making this :)
