Geocache Description:

This is part of the Welcome To series which was started in Sleaford.  Caches are found in the vicinity of village signs and other interesting features.


North Rauceby is a village and civil parish in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, situated 4 miles north-west from Sleaford. It has a population of around 150.

It is a shrunken village, being associated with a partial lost settlement.  The parish church is dedicated to St Peter, and is situated on Church Lane, serving both North and South Rauceby.  North Rauceby is home to Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre.

Bring your own pen.  Small logbook so initials only please.  Tweezers may be required to extract log.
