Nice 10-15 minute walk down the MacKenzie Ravine to an easy to find gadget cache. Lots of birds. Easy to find but then you have to figure out how to get in!
Closest parking is at the parking spot on 142 st and about 94 Ave. Take the stairs down and then follow the trail to the river. For a walk without stairs you could come down the ravine from further west or from Hawreluk park, cross the footbridge and take the River trail.
it's in a city park so not available from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM
You know you've been spending too much time building and talking caches when your wife has nightmares about them. My sweetie dreamed this one up - literally. Engineering and construction are all mine though.
It follows somewhat the same theme as a few of my recent gadget caches but totally different methodology to get it. Certainly unique -you won't find the solution to this one on the net! Of all the caches I've built this is my favourite.
This cache was a nightmare in more ways than one - I found numerous spots for it (I think I'm up to 6 attempts now) that appeared to be OK but then it turned out there were conflicts with mystery caches.
