Welcome to the Haulage Road Recreational Trail! This paved road runs from the corner of Mountain Rd. and Dorchester, down to the corner of St. Paul and Rial. I use to use this Trail quite a bit, saving time getting to Fireman's Park. In honour of the amount of time I spent on this Trail, I thought I'd place a Multi for you to spend some time on!
Please park at the posted co-ordinates (a.k.a.: the Main Parking Lot of Fireman's Park), as there is really no where else to park. Across the street is the start of the trail. Please cross at the traffic lights. The Posted Co-Ords (Stage 1) will bring you to a Stone Cairn with a plaque on it. You will need to gather some information from this plaque, then solve a simple math problem. On the first line of the plaque, there are two, four-digit numbers. The first, four-digit number is "A". The second, four-digit number is "B".
"A" - 974 = "C"
"B" - 1811 = "D"
Stage 2 can be found at: N 43 07. "C" W 079 06. "D" (Simple, right?)
Stage 2 is a Micro (Wrapped in Black Gaff Tape), with Re-Direct Co-Ords to the Final. The Final is a Small Lock-and-Lock (also wrapped in Black Gaff) with a Log Book, and a $5.00 Gift Card to Tim Hortons for the FTF! As always, BYOP, just in case...
