I had noted that the previous cache with the same name GC316V3 had been archived recently. Despite several trips to the area I had never found it due to concentrating on other areas or it being disabled. I also noted that it may be a good place for another cache and today I unexpectedly found myself heading very close by. So with a little help from my friends - voilà.
But the story doesn't end there! We walked along the Honeydew Walk looking for a waterfall but didn't notice one. All sorts of theories were expressed as to why and where it may be. Circled around the track one more time - this time with some clues as Mrs SoBad still had the previous cache loaded on her GPS. I remembered the bridge mentioned, Sidewaze remembered a place that she thought would be a good place for a waterfall and of course Mrs SoBad had the coordinates so was able to count us down.
And what do you know - the theories and the GPS all converge at the same point. A very pretty spot that would be even prettier if there had been any water flowing. I'm sure it would be gushing down at times but today it was dry. We had a good laugh at ourselves at the end of a special geocaching day.
Long story short - take the Honeydew Walk Track, stop at the only boardwalk/bridge (falls or no falls) and the cache is located close by.
