Geocache Description:

In the National Grasslands by Gray Butte. Although it may be a little slick and slimy in the winter, conditions are good most every other time.

Imagine the history of this little spot in the middle of the National Grasslands area. The tribe and I went in search of a suitable site for this cache and this is what we chose. We approached from Skull Hollow, where a portion of the Lost Wagon Train of 1845 was massacred. Keep a close eye on the bluffs as you travel this area. If you have time, hike the Gray Butte trail. Great views. The cache is in a clear tupperware container with a white lid. It is guarded by Lenny. Lots of goodies:
