Geocache Description:


This is my second attempt at a cache at this location since my first one apparently was plundered. This is a big party area for the local teens at night so I'm sure someone who needed to take a leak found it and took it home. I have since moved it to a new location and hopefully will not be so easily plundered and possibly not as hard to find for a person with a GPS. You should have no problem getting satellites out here. My son and I left a flashlight, ruler, triangle, whistle, seeds, crayons, a die.
The views here are great in clear weather. There are plenty of trails out here and there is a fire lookout tower that is manned during fire season. In the spring this area is beautiful. In the summer the grass gets high and brown and there will be plenty of foxtails. I've never seen them, but there are probably rattlesnakes here too.
At night the views are phenomenal. There is parking on the right side just as you get to the gate to the lookout.
