This location on Tan-Y-Bryn Road, Rhos-on-Sea has held great fascination for me since I was a child.
It is possible to park alongside but I would recommend you park either on Llannerch Road West or Ebberston Road and walk the short distance. Take care if you have young Geo kids as there are no pavements on this section of the road.
Even better, you could park in Bryn Euryn cark park and walk down from there before or after you get the other caches nearby.
According to my Father, as a young boy in the 1950's, this water pump had a handle and was fully functional as he used to play with it as he passed whilst walking with his Father.
Unfortunately I have no more information regarding the history of this. If anyone else knows more about it I would love for you to share it.
