Comment pour y aller : Emprunter la N6 jusqu'au Vauclin, traverser le bourg en suivant les indications jusqu'au front de mer, et suivre la petite route qui part vers la droite rejoindre la Pointe Faula.
LE SITE :
Au sud du bourg du Vauclin, la Pointe Faula est une longue plage faisant face à un lagon formée par une barrière de corail. Bien abrité, le plan d'eau est calme, mais toujours bien ventilé. La plage fait face à l'atlantique et à ses Alizés. Très aménagée avec un vaste parking, des tables ou des carbets de pique-nique, des restaurants et des snacks installés dans des roulottes, la Pointe Faula attire de nombreux martiniquais le week-end, et de nombreux touristes la semaine.
Particularité du lieu, le fond sableux à peine recouvert d'une dizaine de centimètres d'eau, s’enfonce depuis le bord jusqu'aux Fonds Blancs au milieu du lagon, permettant de rejoindre ceux-ci tranquillement en marchant. Scènes bibliques en perspective.
Ici, la bande de sable est vraiment très étroite. On pose sa serviette sur la longue étendue d'herbe parsemée de cocotiers et de quelques raisiniers qui borde la plage. Quand il fait trop chaud, l'ombre ne se trouve pas assez facilement.
La Pointe Faula est aussi un spot réputé de Kitesurf et de Windsurf. Il est rare de ne pas voir plusieurs riders à l'entraînement, d'autant que c'est ici que sont installés le centre UCPA de Martinique, et un club nautique très actif, le Club Nautique du Vauclin.
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache micro magnétique contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.

THE SITE :
In the South of the village of Vauclin, the Pointe Faula is a long beach facing a lagoon trained by a coral reef. Sheltered well, the stretch of water is quiet, but always ventilated well. The beach faces in the Atlantic Ocean and in its Trade winds. Very fitted out with a vast parking lot, tables or carbets of picnic, restaurants and snack bars installed in caravans, the Point Faula attracts numerous inhabitants of Martinique the weekend, and of numerous tourists the week.
Peculiarity of the place, the sandy bottom hardly covered with about ten centimeters of water, sinks since the edge up to the White Funds the middle of the lagoon, allowing to join these quietly by walking. Biblical scenes in prospect.
Here, the band of sand is really very narrow. We put its towel on the long area of grass strewed with coconut palms and with some raisiniers which lines the beach. When It was too hot, the shade is not rather easily.
The Pointe Faula is also a renowned spot of Kitesurf and Windsurfing. It is rare not to see several riders in the training, especially as it is here that are installed the center UCPA of Martinique, and a very active water-sports club, the Water-sports club of Vauclin.
THE CACHE :
When you found one place for your car, the site is very easily accessible. The cache micro magnétic contains originally the log but no pencil. Thus bring your pencil ( BYOP) and be extremely discreet, the place is very busy. PLEASE replace the hiding place exactly in the place where you have found It.
