Phone a Friend from Gayles Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: From information recently received this cache appears to be in a dry stone wall.
In order to prevent damage to these walls which may result from finders removing stones in their searches we do not allow caches to be placed in, on or adjacent to them and such locations are not permissible.

I am archiving the cache to prevent any accidental damage to the wall. If this issue can be sorted out within two weeks then I will unarchive.

If you have concerns regarding my assessment of this cache then please bring them to my attention via a review note and re-submit the cache in order that I may re-evaluate my decision and, if this is indicated, enter into dialogue with you to reach further understanding.

Please make any changes that are required then resubmit/enable as necessary to bring this cache back to my attention.

Please note that you need to resubmit/enable the cache to bring it back to my attention. Writing a review note will not, on its own, do so.

Please edit this page rather than abandoning it and starting a new one. If you must start a new listing then you must archive this one.

Many thanks,
Dalesman

Geocache Description:

One of several drive by/park and grab caches we have planted within the beautiful Yorkshire villages adjacent to the A66 Westbound. This cache is a small container in a camo bag and contains a log book, micro pencil and some small swaps.

Whilst caching in this area take time to relax and take in the views and local wildlife. These caches could be found as part of a walk between the villages, parking and beginning at 'Country Crossroad Cache', if so desired. Walking from 'Country Crossroad Cache' through the villages of Kirby Hill, Gayles and Dalton, and finishing at Newsham would be approx. 4 miles.
