One of 3 caches I have placed within Gosforth Park. This is a unique cache which you will know when you see it. It is located at the entrance to Gosforth Park from the B1318, near the A1. On race days, this is one of the main entries so can be very busy and may be best avoided.
Parking is available near the racecourse and sports ground if you desire a walk in the parkland but do keep geokids and geodogs under control as traffic regularly uses the road. There is a layby on the main road for those wanting to ‘Cache and Dash’.
The log will need to be signed with a permanent pen (not pencil or biro), so the well prepared will bring a sharpie. Please ensure log roll is replaced completely, and the container is rehid well.
