This is our first cache hide so we decided to place it somewhere relatively close and an area that is fairly muggle free.
The cache is hiding in what is green area that was previously owned by the now defunked Union Carbide plant, it is an open field with a baseball backstop at one end. In the winter local kids will use the slopes for sledding but my son and i use it more in the summer for flying kites. Although it isn't a huge area, it is big enough to get some pretty good altitude.
The area has two easy access points and terrain is pretty easy and the area should be fairly dry.
FTF gets the cache.
