Thank you everyone for coming.. I think it turned out just the way I wanted it to be for he last one.. a nice VERY CALM gathering.. lol

No rescues needed, only one rolled quad, weather cooperated, good friends, good chili and I got out caching for a change..

Thank you to everyone who came over the years.. the memories will last me a life time.. As I say hello to 7 full years of caching soon it's been a major part of my life and so have all of you.. hugs to all of you..

Geocache Description:

Here is the map for the event. The GPX file will be distributed on site.

There will be new caches placed for the event, at this time not sure how many. For those unfamiliar, the event runs from Saturday at 7 AM to Monday

Held over August Long weekend - GPX file and Map Can be picked up starting late Friday Night when I arrive. There is a change in format this year, as I'm gone most of July in Australia I have to work the event slightly different:

You can arrive at anytime to ground zero(remember there are tons of caches you likely don't have yet.. lol), I will be arriving Friday Night late and will start handing out GPX files at that time.

Caching will start Saturday Morning for the new caches Chilli Cookoff Will be Sunday Night Movie Night will be Sunday Night after the Chilli Cookoff Pancake Breakfast will be served Monday Morning(the Holiday)

Ground Zero/Camping to be at:

There are showers and mainly dry camping with several hook up spots on a first come first serve basis, please contact the Hosts to book your spot.

Will have a Movie Night, Pancake breakfast, Camp Fire in the evenings and Chili cookoff as well.

$20 per Adult, children free.

Please post your will attend here (there is no website this year) in it, please give me the Number of Adults, number of children and caching name of everyone.

Payment to be arranged at Ground Zero, there will be an additional event posted closer to the event for the Chili cookoff :)

Caches will be of all types/sizes/terrain There are quite a few in the area I placed with my Honda Civic, and others that a 4x4 are needed for.

Some will require hiking, some a scramble up the side of a hill, and others are a quick find by the side of FSR's and many are kid friendly as well.
