Geocache Description:

Is this Maiden Gully's only natural waterfall?

You are looking for a 1L plastic bottle somewhere near this natural rock formation, it contains a log sheet, pen and numerous swaps that the geokids have left. Due to the bush envirionment GZ will be found within 2m of the listed co ords.

It is nice walk through the regional park and there are many uneven paths that go up and down hills and cris cross this section, suitable for walkers and mountain bikers. (our 6yr olds ride these tracks regularly but they could be tricky for those a bit unsteady on 2 wheels) The cache is placed along one of these paths so bush bashing is not a requirement. Keep your eyes peeled for wallabies, kangaroos, numerous bird species and of course the usual nasties you get in the aussie bush. In the spring you can find pockets of hidden wildflowers that are spectacular! When you get to GZ you will discover that the Maiden Falls only work after a significant rain event. If you can time your visit to coincide with the end of a thunderstorm then you are in for a treat.
