This is one of a series of caches named for the street and city in which it's hidden. While trying to achieve a daily caching streak of 100 days during the extreme cold and heavy snow cover of winter 2013-14, I have learned the value of this kind of quick and easy hide.
Living in NE Mpls. and Fridley my entire life, I have used New Brighton Rd. frequently. Traveling north from County Rd. D, it passes three parks and crosses a recreational trail in a mere 1.5-mile stretch before terminating at County Rd. E2. I thought it wise to grab this spot for a cache before Geary & Co. could claim it.
