Old Parliament Building
The Old Parliament Building is located on Stadiou Street, in the square where the statue of Theodoros Kolokotronis, Commander-in-Chief of the Revolution of 1821, is also situated. The building is an architectural jewel in the centre of Athens and one of the most historic buildings of the city.
The Congress Hall of the Old Parliament Building brings to the minds of its visitors many occasions in Greek history. It was from this rostrum that Harilaos Trikoupis said the famous phrase "Unfortunately we have gone bankrupt" in 1893. Here also Eleftherios Venizelos announced with great enthusiasm the signing of the Treaty of Serves in 1920, and here was proclaimed the First Hellenic Democracy in1924.
This neo-classical building was the first permanent residence of the Greek Parliament. Queen Amalia laid its foundation stone in 1858, and it was built according to the plans of Francois Boulanger, which were later modified by the Greek architect Panayotis Kalkos. The Greek Parliament sat in the Old Parliament Building from 1875 to 1932.
After the transfer of the Parliament to the Old Palace (today's Parliament Building), it was assigned by prime minister Eleftherios Venizelos, to permanently house the National Historical Museum, an institution whose work is interwoven with the historical identity of the building.
The cache
The cache is a cylindrical magnetic box and contains the geocaching declaration sheet and the logbook. No pen inside.

Το Μέγαρο της Παλαιάς Βουλής
Το Μέγαρο της Παλαιάς Βουλής βρίσκεται στην οδό Σταδίου, στην πλατεία όπου δεσπόζει το άγαλμα του αρχιστράτηγου της Επανάστασης του 1821, Θεόδωρου Κολοκοτρώνη. Αποτελεί αρχιτεκτονικό κόσμημα στο κέντρο των Αθηνών, και ένα από τα πιο ιστορικά κτίσματα της πόλης.
Η Αίθουσα Συνεδριάσεων της Παλαιάς Βουλής των Ελλήνων αποτελεί για τους επισκέπτες του Μουσείου χώρο ιστορικής μνήμης. Από το βήμα των ομιλητών εδώ ο Χαρίλαος Τρικούπης είπε το γνωστό "δυστυχώς επτωχεύσαμεν" το 1893. Εδώ, επίσης, ο Ελευθέριος Βενιζέλος ανακοίνωσε πανηγυρικά την υπογραφή της Συνθήκης των Σεβρών το 1920, και εδώ ανακηρύχθηκε η Α' Ελληνική Δημοκρατία το 1924.
Το νεοκλασικό αυτό κτήριο υπήρξε η πρώτη μόνιμη στέγη του Ελληνικού Κοινοβουλίου. Θεμελιώθηκε το 1858 από τη Βασίλισσα Αμαλία και οικοδομήθηκε σε σχέδια του Francois Boulanger, τροποποιημένα από τον Έλληνα αρχιτέκτονα Παναγιώτη Κάλκο. Στο Μέγαρο λειτούργησε η Ελληνική Βουλή από το 1875 έως το 1932.
Ύστερα από τη μεταφορά του κοινοβουλίου στα Παλαιά Ανάκτορα (σημερινό κτήριο της Βουλής), παραχωρήθηκε από τον πρωθυπουργό Ελευθέριο Βενιζέλο για τη μόνιμη στέγαση του Εθνικού Ιστορικού Μουσείου, ενός ιδρύματος συνυφασμένου με την ιστορική ταυτότητα του κτηρίου.
Η κρύπτη
Η κρύπτη έναι ένα κυλινδρικό μαγνητικο κουτί, και περιέχει το logbook και την δήλωση για το geocaching. Δεν έχει στυλό.
