Welcome to Jumble! A fun geocaching adventure that incorporates a word game requiring you to unscramble jumbled up words along the way! This puzzle cache is in the form of a five stage multi. There are four game card stages and a locked final container. You will collect the clues as you move from stage to stage. You quest will begin at the given IP.
At each stage you will find a container. In each container is a game piece that presents you with the jumble. When you unscramble the jumble, make a note of the key letter in each puzzle, which will be indicated by a circle in the jumble grid. You will collect four key letters which you must ultimately unscramble to form a four letter word that serves as the combination to a lock on the final container. Once the lock has been opened you will be able to access and sign the logbook!
Located in Huntersville Athletic Park, this cache will invite you explore the grounds and some of the trails around the park. I have designed the hides and the terrain requirements to be kid friendly, but one stage will require some taller help. I placed the cache with my 7 and 9 year olds so it should be a piece of cake for your average geo-kid! It is also designed to be findable no matter how busy the park. So feel free to search even during games or events. Most of the stages are out of view...repeat, MOST. The hides should be very easy and most are in obvious locations.
Make sure you bring a pen and something to write on to solve the puzzles. Please do not write on the game cards or fill in the answers! Please let me know if the cards need replacing. Don't forget to replace the lock on the final container and rescramble the letters!
There is small cover placed on the lock which serves to keep dirt out of the lock mechanism. Please replace it before rehiding! Also, please conceal the cache as best you can...it is a sizable container so camouflage is key! Thanks for your care and enjoy JUMBLE!
