Geocache Description:

Patan Dhoka, meaning 'door' or 'gate', is one of the historical entrances to the old city of Patan, a World Heritage Site.

If you are visiting Patan's Durbar Square, try to find your way to Patan Dhoka through the warren of narrow back streets.  These fascinating streets are filled with artisans creating works of art of various forms.  Better yet, spend more than half a day in this part of Kathmandu by staying in this area of the city.

To find the cache, locate the large sacred Bhodi tree at Patan Dhoka.  After admiring this place, walk past this area, away from Patan Dhoka gate, to the corner with the Patan Post Office (mail any postcards you want to send here!) From the Post Office, turn left and walk down the small alley here. Look for a brick wall on your right.

Bring your own pen!
