Geocache Description:


A central park is located in the central part of the city area in Takamatsu, is located at the center of the politics, the culture, and the commerce which a prefectural office, a city office, a high school, and a shopping center accumulate, and was used as the city-owned Stadium till 1982. However, since it transferred to the city Ikushima town by stadium superannuation, a former site is improved as a park. this park advances maintenance on the basis of "the park which overflows green, exists and can enjoy a sense of the season freely" by citizen participation, surrounds the perimeter in a lignosa, and has continued up to now as a park which allotted the lawn open space (free open space) to the central part. The bronze statue of Osamu Mihara and Shigeru Mizuhara who are the baseball people from Kagawa is built by the park on the south, and also the tile stone is embedded by the position of once home plate, first base, second base, and third base in the base in the lawn open space developed by the portion of the once infield. 中央公園は高松の市街地の中心部に位置し、県庁、市役所、高校、商店街が集積する政治・文化・商業の中心地にあり、1982年まで市営球場として利用されていました。しかし、球場老朽化により市内生島町に移転したため跡地を公園として整備したものです。
この公園は、市民参加による「緑にあふれ、季節感があり、気軽に楽しめる公園」を基本に整備を進め、外周を樹林でかこみ、中央部に芝生広場(自由広場)を配した公園として現在に至っています。 公園南側には香川県出身の野球人である三原脩と水原茂の銅像が建立されている他、かつての内野の部分に造成された芝生広場には、かつての本塁・一塁・二塁・三塁の位置にベースを模ったタイル石が埋め込まれている。 キャッシュにはペンが入っていませんので、ペンをお持ちください。なお、スポイラーに関しご批判いただいておりますが高松市民にとってココは「ベースボールパーク」で有る事をご理解ください
