This cache is being placed in memory of Dolphin Pet Village, a local pet store that had been around since 1965 and sadly had to close it's doors for good on January 15th, 2013.
I used to come to DPV as a kid and it was one of the most unique shops I have ever been to. Back then they had a large wooden pirate ship that you would literally walk through once you entered the building on the way to the fish section. It was a fun place to go back then and it's unfortunate that the internet as well as the 'big box' stores have forced local businesses such as this one to shut down.
