WALC: Pole Position Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CacheHownds: The beauty of this cache is it was a cement block in the water with a pole out of it. Under the cap of the pole was the cache. That pole and block is long gone. Time to archive. Thanks to anyone who came out to play.

Geocache Description:

A cache series placed along the "Walk Along Lake Country" trails. This is the Okanagan Centre Road West trail.

This trail goes along the beach on Okanagan Lake. Can be a high muggle area, depending on the time of year. Exercise stealth. Careful deviating off the trail as Poison Ivy is known to be in the area.

Reminants of old pilings are in the area, which may be part of the old ferry docks used to move fruit across the lake to the old Packing House nearby.
