Geocache Description:

An easy two-stage projection multi. Be careful if the side creek has high water.

The cache is located within the South Platte Park. Hours are sunrise to sunset. Park in the lot at Carson Nature Center, then follow the hiking trail on the eastern side of the river to the south. Dog ok, must be on leash. No bikes.

From the reference point, proceed on heading of 135 (SE) for HH feet. There are HH hours in a day.

This hiking trail will take you through the East Trail Wildlife Area, containing nesting and migration habitat for many types of birds. Deer and coyote may be also found in this area. Much less busy here than the Mary Carter Greenway Trail on the west side of the river.
