Geocache Description:


武田氏の初代とされる武田信義の父、逸見清光が要害として築いたことに始まるといわれますが、現在見られる谷戸城の遺構の多くは、武田氏の滅亡後の、徳川対北条の対峙の中で、北条軍がここを拠点とするために整備したものと見られて、武田の歴史の初めから終わりまでの長きを見とどけた城として、国指定史跡となっています。

It is the castle which the father of Nobuyoshi Takeda who is the Takeda family's founder, and Kiyomitsu Itsumi made. 
After the Takeda family is ruined, what the Hojo army fixed remains. 
They are government-designated digs at ruins as a castle which knows all Takeda's histories.
